Quick start
- Have the vehicle installation, power connection, antenna and microphone checked before operating the mobile radio. Keep the configured dispatch channel plan available for the first test.
- Press the On/Off button to start the radio. Use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to set the listening level.
- Use the programmed Channel Up and Down controls to choose the assigned channel. Confirm the selected channel with your radio administrator before testing with dispatch.
- Press and hold PTT. Wait for the Talk Permit Tone if enabled, speak clearly into the microphone, then release PTT to listen.
