Identify the exact model and selected configuration. If you are expanding a fleet, send the current model numbers and programming details to our team so compatibility can be checked before you order.
Use the manual for the exact CP100d faceplate: full keypad, limited keypad or non-display. Provide the existing fleet channel plan and desired button functions to your programmer; the presence of a display does not establish radio-to-radio compatibility.
Check the battery charge, attachment and latch. Contact support if a charged, properly attached battery does not resolve the problem.
After pressing PTT, wait until the Talk Permit Tone finishes if that tone is enabled, then speak.
Release PTT. Confirm the selected channel and report the tone and circumstances to your radio administrator before trying again.
Use the Motorola CP100d Full Keypad user guide in Documents below. Full-keypad, limited-keypad and non-display CP100d radios have different controls.
Press and hold PTT, then wait for the Talk Permit Tone to finish if it is enabled. Speak clearly and release PTT to listen.
Check that the battery is charged and correctly attached. If the CP100d still does not turn on, contact the Canadian support team with the exact model and battery part number.
Use the accessories linked from the Canadian product page. Confirm the radio model, connector and battery or charger part number before adding equipment to an existing system.
Ask about programming, fleet quotes or an existing order. For an order enquiry, include your order number and the affected product. Call 1-800-681-8023.
