Identify the exact model and selected configuration. If you are expanding a fleet, send the current model numbers and programming details to our team so compatibility can be checked before you order.
DTR group communication depends on the configured Profile ID as well as the channel. Record your existing group configuration before adding radios; do not reset the fleet to a generic default as a troubleshooting shortcut.
Check whether the radio is muted. Press either volume button to restore the previous listening volume.
The DTR700 will not transmit while it is receiving. Wait for the receiving call to finish, then try PTT again.
Confirm the channel and Profile ID with the fleet administrator. Radios in the group need the same Profile ID to communicate.
Wait for the DTR700 Talk Permit Tone before speaking. The tone follows PTT and indicates that the channel is available.
Press either volume button. The DTR700 restores the volume level used before it was muted.
Confirm the group’s configured Profile ID and channel. Motorola states that radios in the group must use the same Profile ID to communicate.
Use the accessories linked from the Canadian product page. Confirm the radio model, connector and battery or charger part number before adding equipment to an existing system.
