Quick start

With the radio off, check that the correct battery and antenna are fitted. Charge using the authorized equipment and the instructions in the matching user guide.
Turn the On/Off/Volume knob clockwise to power on. Adjust the same knob to a comfortable listening volume.
Press the SB2 button to cycle to an enabled channel assigned to your Canadian fleet. Confirm the actual programmed channel plan before testing.
Press and hold PTT, speak clearly into the microphone, then release PTT to listen.
